We've been fans of H.P. Lovecraft for years. Like since mid high school for me, and soon after we got married for her. Something about making her sit down and read The Call of Cthulhu after she got lost listening to a conversation about Lovecraftian horror. We've been looking for more modern takes on Lovecraft's work (good ones are rare) and I think the visual style of Shadowgirls hooked me. I took one look at The Shadowchild statue and went "What is that. That's way to awesome". She's a visual person and i'm a fan of comics and well done art, so it works for both of us. I'm actually looking forward to seeing what happens next and what big nasty will be coming out of the woodwork. -laughs- Thank you!
