Can you guys believe it has been exactly four months since we re-launched the site? It wasn’t the beginning of the year and I suppose I should have mentioned this at the actual quarter but it would appear (based entirely on numbers from Project Wonderful and rainbow candy) that our audience has either fully returned from before and grown past that by several thousand or we have found a host of new readers. We don’t advertise a great deal, outside of the big push at the outset, so any growth we have had since then is based almost entirely on you. You are the most powerful form of advertising there is and nothing gets a webcomic out there better than word of mouth.
So if you have pushed Shadowgirls on your friends, please let us know. And if you haven’t, you can let us know that too. But we ask that if you are enjoying this story that you try to find at least three people you know who would enjoy it as well and share it with them via email, Facebook, Twitter or whatever.
And since it is Tuesday without a weird holiday break, there is a brand new Lindsey Page to Vote for and you can catch up on her goings on in the Lindsey Archives!

Hi!
New reader here. I actually stumbled on your comic by accident. I was at Patchtogether.com looking at a figurine from another webcomic and stumbled into the Shadowchild one you folks have up there. I navigated to here, jumped to the first comic, and started reading. Needless to say I’m hooked and keep on coming back. I even got my wife to start reading you guys.
Keep up the good work!
Thunderwave, you and Mrs. Thunderwave are welcome here! I’m glad Patchtogether sent you our way!
-laughs- Thank you!
We’ve been fans of H.P. Lovecraft for years. Like since mid high school for me, and soon after we got married for her. Something about making her sit down and read The Call of Cthulhu after she got lost listening to a conversation about Lovecraftian horror.
We’ve been looking for more modern takes on Lovecraft’s work (good ones are rare) and I think the visual style of Shadowgirls hooked me. I took one look at The Shadowchild statue and went “What is that. That’s way to awesome”. She’s a visual person and i’m a fan of comics and well done art, so it works for both of us.
I’m actually looking forward to seeing what happens next and what big nasty will be coming out of the woodwork.
Only four months? Wow… it’s flown, hasn’t it?
Here’s to four more years, never mind months. Cheers, fellas
I pointed my last roomate at you and her reaction was “WTF are these guys tokin’?” But as far as I know she’s still reading ya, Gods know I am.
