The Blue Lantern has been one of the most contentious selections but for me this was a foregone conclusion from the beginning. If you haven’t been voting and keeping track you’ve been missing out on a great series of artwork from D-Rey and incredibly unique takes on the various Lantern Corps.
I’m not sure about the unique oaths that each of the colors have, they all seem a little…not nearly as awesome as the Green Lantern oath. But then of course I am biased. Here’s the Blue Oath.
“In fearful day, in raging night,
With strong hearts full, our souls ignite,
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
Look to the stars– For hope burns bright!”
I don’t know. It all kind of sounds like the crap that came shipped with the Visionaries action figures. The Visionaries had to yell out their poem to trigger their powers. Do you have any idea what kind of a badass you have to be punk someone while spouting doggerel poetry?

Man, Visionaries rocked! Not as much as Inhumanoids, but rock they did indeed.
I have like 4 episodes on VHS.
Only one I remember is “By what creeps and crawls, and what does not, what once did grow, recede and rot!” I think.
The 2 that I know are “Oh mist filled pits dark, dank and unclear, touch all before me with frost fingered fear” and my fave “By natures hand, by crafts art, what once was one now fly apart”
