So the bbq i cooked last night, the pork turned out perfect! I cooked them on the hot plate for a little while, then put them on the grill while I cooked the sausages and vegetables (broccoli, mushroom and onion). Only had the grill on it's lowest setting, and it crackled up the crackle yet didn't burn the meat or dry it out.

We had a fundraiser performance this past weekend to benefit a historic mansion in town. Due to rain, it ended up being held entirely INSIDE the mansion. There was a dance show upstairs, and the people were eating at tables set up in every room. I was one of about a dozen people assigned to move through the rooms and interact with people in character, to keep them entertained until it was their turn to see the dance show. I played a tight-lipped, holier-than-thou temperance lady with a tendency to try to 'save' people by singing them hymns in the worst singing voice I could muster (seriously, my throat hurt the next day). I had a BLAST and we raised a decent amount of money for the mansion.
Now, the reason I'm awesome: Our sponsors called me out as their favorite, and most memorable, character! Apparently, no one forgets a tone-deaf church lady.

Yes Inara PLEASE find a clip to put on Youtube, surely SOMEone had a camera or cameraphone and taped it!

Actually, the crowd was mostly blue-hairs. We literally had to help people up to the second floor. I'm not sure most of them have even heard of Youtube. Sorry, as far as I know, there are no clips.

Okay- so I'm not awesome yet- but I will be!

My three year old daughter is awesome because she tried to do some bending last night while we watch a couple of episodes of Avatar: The last airbender. Good god I love having a hacked Wii so I can plug my external into it's USB and watch things on the TV via it.
