There is a bridge mentioned in the mythos, but the construction of it was never talked about. The idea of crafting it this way was on us. Techinically its not people. But you get the idea.

I wonder what makes Madison think that Becka's going to be any more willing to waste Misty NOW than before. I mean, sure, there's self-preservation and Misty being the aforementioned pain-in-ass, but I see Becka preferring a different option.

Something I haven't seen addressed yet… and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Becka take advantage of… but Misty in and of herself is just a human. Despite Becka's severing of Misty and Momma H, the latter has to still be tied in somehow for this bridge to use her as its crux. Given the slant of Madison's speech, cutting that final link would probably cause the whole thing to collapse like damp cardboard.

Well, three-quarters human anyway.
But I see where you're going with this. A lingering connection WOULD explain the golden glow she's producing. As for the ones in red, I wonder if those are past victims of the spider and her master, people currently having similar paranormal insomnia to Becka…or a mixture of the two.
O, what a tangled web we weave, when first we choose to piss off a teenage girl that's infused with otherworldly powers. Or something like that.

I really don't think Mendellian Inheritance matters much when dealing with creatures from beyond. I'm pretty sure that what ever the fish-creatures are, Mamaillian isn't even remotely close. meaning that Misty is most likely completely inhuman, with enough mystic juice to both seem, and procreate with, normal mortal beings.
