Well folks, D.Rod’s off at the Chicago C2E2 convention, and as I mentioned elsewhere… It sounds like a goddamned astromech droid, so I’m going to start calling it Droidcon until someone tells me a better name for it. Tonight is the cover to Issue #2… Well, Book #2, Issue #2. I think you all will get a kick out of the opening scene in this issue. It’s pretty kick ass, and I think art wise, it’s some of my best art I’ve done to date.
So who are the mysterious seven walking in the rainy misty night? Well, from the glowing red eye on the center guy, I’m pretty sure you can tell who one of them is. The rest… Wait and see.

They wouldn't happen to be a nod to the Magnificent 7 would they? I mean with their number.

Ok second from the left is the Beach-Head/Destro guy from the Episode 2 preview, me thinks.
1st guy to the right of Sawyer is the Green Beret from the same episode.
I would love to see this image in the future with them in full view.

Far left has the Hair and shoulder pad of the new girl in the fight screen.
This would make an awesome side story too I think. One of the more interesting books DC tried was Gotham PD. Interesting watching normal cops do things trying to stop supervillians, and being as resentful of Bats as the Asylum crowd.

Nice catch! I am thinking far right is possibly Annaline, although not enough glow.

Sorry for the double post. But this update is pretty darn neat! Does the fact that the 'merlins' hands are glowing in S-Vision mean that magic users hands glow?
So far.
Sawyer – We know who this is.
Offkilter – Someone who is possibly a little 'eccentric' or not quite normal.
Macbeth – Someone with a dark past who must now attone their sins. (Wilson?)
Hammer -B.F.T.
I like the Faith Blades uniforms. Makes me wonder just how intertwined the EoD and the BW are. The plot thickens.

This update is pretty darn neat, yes. Heeheehee.
Absolutely adore the last panel especially. Wonder how well they'll do against a flashbang. If they know anything about them, they'll know to look away. If they're going "what the hell" and peering at it… well, wednesday should be nice and blindingly bright for them.

They are a pretty sound idea too. 
EDIT: Just realised I missed a member. Grendel. He is mentioned in the "still to come". Which if my google-fu is correct. Grendel is the tallest bad arse in the line up. As Sawyer is 6'1″ and Grendel in folk lore was supposed to be a giant of a man.

Grendel was also a small press anti-hero. Assassin of evil doers who pretty much matched Batman in a toe to toe fight.
I'm thinking Hammer is a sniper of some sort.
MacBeth was a king, and a really cool character on Gargoyles. That could also be a given name, or a reference to the fact that they're an actor. Also, if it's a girl named MacBeth it's a whole other kettle of fish.
I'm going to try and replace the Kool-aid man with the Jr. merlin there.
