Ohdear. I take it poor ol' Wilson is tired of being the bitch…
Something tells me the guys upstairs aren't going to be that understanding about this tantrum. Let's hope for his sake the magic pebble can stop bullets.

Well, that kinda shoots some holes in my theory. I was under the impression that he KNEW what it was he was holding and had planned on swiping it…now I'm thinking he was just cataloging it along with the rest and had no idea what he was holding. I think I give Wilson too much credit for being devious.
Looks like he is once again the universe's punching bag; he gets ensnared by some cosmic power, and now the squad's going to have to bust his head open.

I think he knew (at least somewhat) what he was grabbing, probably did so for the power boost. It also looks like there'll be another rumble to deal with, possibly another intention of Wilson's.
Still, just a guess or two.

I think you're still thinking "evil" instead of "pawn". He didn't even realize fishmonsters existed until he got pitched in arse-first. He's always been a pawn- just a question of what of this time.

Looking at this it appears that said stone is 'alive' and leeches onto people with emotional problems which it then amps them up on said emotions. Fear and aggresion being the two I see at the moment.
For some odd reason. I don't know why. But I think this stone may the pysical manifestation of the tumor that Becka removed at the end of last season. Although that is rather outlandish on my part.
EDIT: Forgot to mention earlier. Note that Maurice is under the influence too. Also, on the evidence table last page. There may be a not significant spider on the desk. Which makes me want to go through the entire series and look for spiders tucked away . . .

I noticed the spider as well, and wondered about it.
And yeah, Maurice is definitely under the influence at least partially, the eyes are glowing. Unless the stone lets him make servants out of other people…
Still, yeah. He's in for a few bullets at the moment, unless that stops them.

I wonder what the connection is between whatever power that stone is channeling and the big redheaded Scottish-looking guy (I'm horrible with names, and I still haven't figured out who's who in that bunch). Seems pretty clear that whatever activated resonated with him.
Man, I love this story, never a dull moment. Can't wait until tomorrow!

Okay, I can go with the "alive" theory.
And…what tumor are we talking about?

The dream world tumor thing that Becka threw the dagger through which cause our villains coma state.
Also side note, for some reason thinking back on the Season 2 preview where Becka was all bound and there were golden tools about looking as if they were getting ready to opperate. I am thinking that was MH returned.

A rumble within the squad's ranks spurred, A spell of discord, perhaps occurred. Naming Wilson after a "South Park" kid for a larf? Hey, Sawyer, can't that eye shoot lasers? NARF!

But by the looks of it, Sawyer's immune. Seems his mystic peeper protects him, at least in this case. Otherwise, he wouldn't be pleading with Wilson, just pummeling his ass.

Don't know why, but your post made me flash to the Beatles…
I read the news today oh boy Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire And though the holes were rather small They had to count them all Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.
