Getting back to Becka a moment, I do wonder what connection there is, if any, between Moira and the Spider Dreamhaunter. This is the second time it's come, and both times Moira has been nearby (and Charon has not). Do they serve the same master? Are they allies? Are they rivals?

I have a friend who absolutely refueses to go to walmart.
He works in a lumber mill up in here in Canada. It's one of the ones that have been hit hard by the softwood tarif. (Look it up. Dispite many court rulings, including from US courts, that it breaks treaty obligations, the US keeps trying to charge huge sums for impoted softwood, and give it directly to US softwood companies.) Walmart, for some odd reason, has stated that it supports the tarrif. He now refuses to have anything to do with them.
There are a handful of things that wal-mart does well. Plastic sheet protectors is the one I use. But I go there as seldom as I can.

I'm beginning to wonder if the sadistic dreamzone peeping-tom that is Anrachnae JeremyIronsis isn't actually on our side of the line as it were; someone trying to take a harsh-lessons approach to preparing Becka to make it through a particular ordeal.
Nice linking between pages, guys – Becka and Wilson… destined to always stand outside the rest of the world, never fitting in.

Third, actually. First time was when she dozed off in class, then when she was home alone, and number three is happening "now". And that's three that we've seen; I think Becka's sleep deprivation has been going on a tad longer.
But the more I think about it…I wonder if perhaps the Spidey-Krueger here isn't Moira. Another form, a being possessing a corpse, or perhaps a spell she cast on her granddaughter.

Loved the THX-1138 reference.
Definitely looks like someone is still not playing for the home team, possibly from being already scared s#17less of Moira.
Bargaining chip? Seeing how she handled the shopkeeper, I don't think anyone is going to bargain with her. Ever.
If the spider creature really is on our side of the line, I'd almost certainly bet that she's the one that he's trying to prepare Becka for. But then, I've never out-speculated this comic before, I doubt I have this time either.

I can see him trying now…dangling the stone in front of her like a carrot to a rabbit's nose. Wanting…nay, DEMANDING immunity from harm, safe passage for life, or the stone will never be hears.

Then Moira coughs a brief incantation and Wilson's head starts to evaporate.
