In fairness MOST of the people she's worked with are probably older than Lindsey, not to mention more experienced.

No, I repressed myself. I had pointed put exactly where it was mentioned, but I decided to edit it. Check the supplementals. (That's the stuff that runs inbetween the issues during the breaks. It's not all filler. There's quite a large amount of foreshadowing in them.)

Bit of pointless trivia, unrelated to the story at hand, but it's a neat little coincidence.
On the monitor, it says Keyhole Hijacking. The Keyhole satellites are reconnaissance satellites that agencies like the CIA and FBI uses to track people. (If you saw the movie patriot games, that infrared satellite they used in there? That's it.) It can see in the broad range of spectrum including infrared and ultraviolet, and according to one engineer can "see bubble gum wrappers on the sidewalk of the Baikonur Cosmodrome". (The Russian space center.)
The KH-13 SatTels have often been referred to as "Project Misty"
Like I said… Nothing to do with the story, but just a neat little trivia.

Oh dear.
LOL at her reaction though. Yeah, NOW Lin tells her to turn the headset down… Still, better she says that than just screaming louder or something else bad.
The first scream in the shaft is probably what drew it to her in the first place.
