Indeed… one idea that's been vexing me for awhile now has been "Wait, MH needed a special host, why doesn't the SG?" Meaning… maybe the Daves have been holding back a Nodens-based mirror of the fishyfolk. That'd be quite the cliffhanger to build up to and then discover at the end of the season…
…or has this been discussed before, and I missed it?
Hmm. I see your point here.
Mother Hydra's seed needed to be planted in a Deep One, when it was an infant for her to pass onto her own child to become Mother Hydra.
Now, if this were true we could assume that Charon was A) seeded as an Infant. With the father of Becka being some form of hybrid. Or B) When what ever happened in the desert, happened. She was seeded. With a combination of her being fully human, and seeded at such a late stage caused stress on the seed hence it fracturing during labor.
Also, Jack has been groomed by someone or something, that is for sure.

Jackson was explained, though it may have been in Forum or in a removed page.
IIRC Christy started dating him because a) it pissed off Charon, and b) Jackson made it onto the football team. He did well at football, got a college scholarship and put himself through law school. Ye gods I miss those Who's Who pages. That was essential, if out dated and occasionally incorrect, stuff.
AS for the Shadow Child being preped, we've been told that A) She's not the first Shadow Child, just the first to Manafest the Nodens thing b) The reason is related to 'Doc Shadow' or what ever his name was c) The master, who holds the full knowledge of Dagon, is her Mother/Grandmother. This may mean that Charon is, at least metaphysically, born of an old one.
If I had to name the twist, I'd say that Granny Gollum, upon assuming the Mask, read the signs of her Daughter bearing the Shadow Child, and tried to get her raped to prevent it from happening. Charon avoided the MMA douche, and ran away, only to have the real thing wash over her. But them I'm a far site more twisted than the Daves.

Yeah but I don't think it was ever explained how he went from the weedy kid to the muscle bound jock like he did. There was a smidgen of mystery in there somewhere, which to my knowledge was not explained.
As for these three. I have no clue. I have way too many conspiracy theories running through my head
Evidence:
A) http://www.shadowgirlscomic.co…..ue-finale/
Paul is sickened by the results.
B) http://www.shadowgirlscomic.co…..ng-back-2/
Look at the file behind Donovan Troy. Crime Code 261a is Rape. And Definition on the other side of his face appears to say something like "Attempted S" which I would assume to be "Attempted Sexual Assault".
If Charon then run off to Gage, and told him. I am guessing he would help her run away. Because she ran away there was not enough evidence for full conviction etc.

I never thought it was all that suspect that Jackson buffed up. It happens–teens grow, some of them workout and discover hey, I'm actually good at sports, check it out. Unless some other clear reason popped up to make it seem odd, I at least am confident that's all it was.

I think that (my) big issue with this is that it happened over the short period of (maybe) two years. he was weedy at 16, then BAM! he's kicked up a notch to college scholarship winning football skills and size? that's the suspect part.

It's not that odd. When I was 15, I was a tall skinny kid. When I graduated by 17, I was taller and a lot more muscle bound, and was a wrestler. Apparently, I kept growing, and now I'm a Hutt.

Also, maybe he had little else to do. His sweetheart vanished and came back with another man's spawn. Maybe he drowned himself in the right calistenics to distract from the emotional pain.
I used TV.

I have a Master's Degree in WoD paranoia, made worse by a Minor in Laurell K. Hamilton, and yet, I can assure you that bulking up over 2 years isn't all that hard to do. There were guys who I played with in High School who put on 20 pounds of Muscle in 3 months, some of them without Steroids.
Simple fact is if you're playing High School Ball with a serious team, you're in the weight room for 30-60 minutes a day, twice a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, with 7 other guys trying to out lift you. I was just equipment manager, and I still put on 5-6 pounds of Muscle one season. College Ball is worse.

Yeah, I don't doubt that. But at some stage, possibly when Chrissy said "Daddy, I want him!" he has been groomed into her 'perfect' mate. Is what I be meaning.
EDIT: Even if all it was, was a gentle nudge in the right direction.

It appears so. Although shockingly the nudge in the right direction actually came from Gage . . . That is certainly left field.

Meh, if I lived in the US I would probably have been the kid locked in his locker. Luckily no lockers in Aus. Well my school at least.

The lockers at my school were maybe 1m x .5m x .5m. You'd need a chainsaw, blender, and dehydrator to get a student to fit into one of them.

Lockers in my high school (and I think middle school) were pretty thin, too. I think they did that specifically to prevent kids from being rammed inside.

Current page has her running from a monster that is, to quote her "Trying to skewer me with its inappropriate".
Bet she'd rather be shoved into a tiny locker at school right about now.
