Okay, so Innsmouth High's mascot is the Cephalopod. And Arkham High's mascot is the Chiroptera. Do the Cephalopod and the Chiroptera have proper names of their own? O_o
Anywho, as to the what's going on on this particular page, I'm sure no child wants to learn of their parents' sexual history. I know for a fact I would not.

You know, I remember my High School Mascot had a name, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was.
I just remember the humorous fact that while we had both Male and Female Mascots, rampant homophobia prevented any males from actually trying out for Pep Squad, so both Mascots had a female inside of them. Made the hand holding and mock kissing seem all the more dirty when you know that. I can only imagine what it did to the Furries I went to High School with.

Apparently we'll be going with Cecil the sea-sick cephalopod and either Bruce or Kirk for the Chiroptera.
But I loose 4 points for needing to Google Chiroptera before that pun occured to me.

There was an Archie comic from back in the early 80s in which the guys on the football team started to mock Archie for joining the cheer squad. His response was, "Ya know, I had to ask myself, do I want to be bumping heads with the roughest guys in school, or holding hands with the prettiest girls?"
The next frame showed three guys from the football team approaching Ms. Grundy and asking to join the cheer squad.
