No! Danger! Spork fears for life!
Charon…Christmas…getting along. Vegeta grabbing a brew with Yamacha makes more sense.
Pardon me, whilst I go running amok across state lines and cause massive property damage in a fit of hysteria.
And I'm off…

Chris and Charon having a friendly chat without triyin' to rip their throats?…..naaaah. Somebody is having a beautiful dream in a world were unicorns trot in the hills and Mother Hydra has poker Saturday nights with old Nodens.
Seriously, I never thought of this story turn and I'm glad to say I LOVE it. That's one of the few comics I read were archrivals are enough mature to bury old rivalities and begin to treat themselves more warmly (another epic example is Pennie and Aggie webcomic, if you know it). Well done men.
By other way, Charon dressed with a naughty, sexy petticoat…..mmmmmmh

To answer the question, "Can mortal enemies become friends?" It can happen, I guess, but it has never happened to me personally. But then, I tend to hold grudges, so <shrug> On the other hand, I have been able to be civil with people that I wasn't fond of, given the right situation. Perhaps there is a reason they're having to work together?

Well the incident might have something to do with it. I'd have trouble doing it, but then I hold grudges until they die of old age, then have them ressurected as the walking dead so *shrug*

Well that's an interesting twist.
Though I can see them both having a common goal now, the destruction of the EoD.

I am thinking of something much more immediate, like waking up Misty.

Well, per Lovecraft that doesn't usually happen until well into middle/old age – but that's Lovecraft, and not SG.

I believe the same, that it CAN happen, just a matter of time and oppurtunity.
I recall this one kid who used to be my friend in elementary school, but then turned on me. Started treating me like dirt. This continued into middle school (when he called me inferior), and we didn't see much of each other in high school. Then after the graduation ceremony, he approaches, gives me a "man-hug" and says, "We did it!" all cheerful like we'd been buddies for a time. So I guess whatever his problem with me was, he go over it.
Similar thing happened in high school. There was a girl that always annoyed me before, but I think come senior year, I see her again and she's perfectly sweet.
Granted these are childhood anecdotes, but it does show that people can change and get over their griefs with others. Here, it was a matter of Chrissy cashing one HUGE reality check.
