Misses mommy? Or wants to put a lug wrench for a semi-truck through her cranium? You decide.

Man, I hope you didn't bring Max in just to kill her off- we already know Moira's a bitch, we didn't need to see that.

I'll take the wrench option.
For $200, Alex?

I think most importantly, Grandma doesn't know what happened to Becca. So whatever she did or didn't do to the evil spider beastie, she did it without concious knowledge.

It's time for another good idea, bad idea: Good Idea – Getting your Insider character into the comic Bad Idea – Joining the EOD to do so. Gratz to Jacobus for the New Avatar!

It was a message she left with the ward instead of an actual appearance I think.
I doubt that Max is gonna bite the bullet. There has to be some kind of limits to the stone and I'd guess telling people to kill themselves is one of them. Then again, The Daves are pure EVIL and it may well end up with Max needing a bionic brain (if she doesn't already have one).

If the Dave's are staying true to thier Yog-Sothothery (love that term) then 'Evil' isn't limited, only 'Human Reality'. They eye, being of the beyond, can totally do stuff like that. Also, it shows just how Bad Granny Gruesome really is.
But if they're going more SuperHeroy this would be an awesome time to show how Sawyer's eye helps counter the one Granny got.

I'm sure the Daves have further plans for Moira. Hopefully for Maxine as well… Perhaps Lindsey to the rescue?

Here's my question to that.: Just how did what we saw happen to Rebecca translate into a lung full of water? I saw spiderwebs, the ward going off like a supernova, but nothing to suggest water.

Maybe it's an E.O.D. thing, related to their Deep Ones affiliation?

Water's flowing in.

She's underwater. Her hair is floating and those are bubbles.

Hair is still floating and a clearer shot of the bubbles.

Honestly, I was so tripped out by how creepy the spiders turned out that I didn't even notice the bubbles. Pretty obvious now though…doh.

Yeah, I missed that it was water, too. Things tend to get all dream-sequency when spider-thing is around, so I'd dismissed the water details to that. Now that you point it out, though, it's totally obvious.

"Interesting."
Going on the look on ol' Granny Gollum's face, "Oh f*ck." seems a more appropriate translation

Hrm… this does, naturally, bring up the question of just how much cranial modification Ms. Greenlocks has endured… and how much of it has been EoD-sponsored…

Well, that answers my earlier question about her cybernetics having an override feature, Intresting that it shows it as an Ethernet hacking attempt.

Yeah, magic, or whatever you want to call it Moira's doing (certainly looks like compulsion magic), versus machine, machine usually wins. Especially if the machine is part of a sentient being's most basic functions like recognizing a threat and whatnot, then of course there would be over-ride protocol for just such a thing. Can't help but wonder how much of Max's "enhancements" were EOD funded, though. Still, tense moments are tense.
