I disagree Aky. For some reason I think it is Sawyer. I have been wrong before though.

We'll just have to disagree on that one Jackie. For some reason I just can't picture detective Sawyer wearing that outfit, but I CAN see Mr Mysterious doing so. (in addition the hair on the biker is black, not sawyers brown)

Sorry, something about him just screams douchebag at me. College hangover? The fact that all the girls I liked prefered guys like that; six foot of offkey handsome slime poured into leather and almost certain to cheat on them with their best friend/sister/mother, but nooooo, he always gets another chance. I get left on pick-up-the-pieces duty. It gets everything else. When it should be doused in caustic soda and set on fire. I think I just found some common ground with Jack – never thought I'd see the day.
Ohboy, do I still look back on college with bitterness ;D
Do a sloppy job, Jack… for old times sake. I would.

My fault, sorry. I forgot to change the date on the new page when I updated it and it carried over for both. I fixed it. Thanks for telling us.

For me it's still that way, and nah, do a clean job, easier to clean the mess that way.

New poster, sorta. Been reading for a long time now and posted in the comments section a couple times while it still existed.
I'm getting a distinct, ominous theory by the foreshadowing going on here. While there would be seemingly be plenty of men who know Charon, and who could have reason for Jack to dislike…I'm getting the impression that this guy is Becka's father, or the first in a line of likely possibilities.
My reasoning is as follows, for anyone interested. Granted, it's highly possible I'm wrong and there's a lot of speculation considering what little information we have so far.
-The dialogue heavily implies Charon is involved. The only event we directly know of between Jack and Charon that Jack would probably never get over is her having "someone else's baby". Since he seems to have begun to at least partly accept Becka and Charon despite that since a long time ago, the only party left is the father. Assuming this is related at all.
-The guy has black hair and blue eyes. While a lot of people could fit that description, not many adult males have in the comic so far. I'm not sure if there even were any, actually. Becka's father is too significant a matter for me to believe that he will never show up in the plot. This rules out any males who Charon has been with that are very minor characters. This guy doesn't seem minor.
-It would already be safe to guess this guy is a jerk. By Jack thinking he was dead, it's unlikely that he's been to innsmouth in a long time. Sounds like a possible dead beat dad to me, but…
- I'm not sure he knew Charon was pregnant. "Some things have come to my attention lately…" Charon allegedly doesn't know the father, either, so it's possible he's ignorant or she's lied. I find the latter unlikely.
-There is, however, this problem. If he IS the father, and Jack knows it, why would Charon not know it? This bit makes me doubt my theory.
-He's going to Jack for legal reasons. The first thing that came to mind to me was "custody". Jack's a lawyer, yeah, but no client would be relevant without connections to the main characters. Cage has already shown a connection exists with Jack, and Charon is likely as well.
