Seriously though, I'm just getting off (poor choice of words there) on seeing these two functioning together; not quite friends, but certainly equals, and both finally able to see what they have in common – they love their kids. And that despite what the other has said in the past, they're good people and know it. Makes this old man all warm and squishy inside

I'm really enjoying the new "not friends, but colleagues" relationship between Charon and Chrissy, it in some way satisfies me to see them working together instead of kicking their asses or insulting each other, a twist in that was needed, and I also was imaging how things would be if they stopped fighting for only once. Thanks for showing us the other side of Chrissy and Charon face to face, Dave and D.Rod… This comic simply rules.

Anyone else wonder if Jackson is at all aware of Christmas' lineage? He off being "Jackson Left-Hook, Attorney-At-Law" during the Mother Hydra fight. And I douby Chrissy was in any position to tell him, even if she'd want to.

I think she's sticking to the story she was caught in an explosion. It's kind of hard to tell one's S/O "Honey, I'm part fish monster on my mother's side and my father was a member of a cult that worshipped the monster's creator."

Did I miss something? We know Chrissy's mother was a Fish Monster, but I don't recall anyone actually filling her in on that little detail, at least not on-camera. Jackson may know a few interesting things, but this may not be one of them. The reason he's broken free of his father-in-law probably has mostly to do with the cult involvement; Chrissy's maternal heritage may or may not be part of that knowledge.
Of course, if I'm wrong, could someone please cite the relevant page(s)?

I doubt Chrissy would try telling Jack she used to have more legs than she does now, who knows – maybe she is in denial? Maybe, considering she knows Charon gets somewhat monster-ish when she's pissed off, it means Charon's someone to feel normal with?
