I might have suggested you shouldn't have, but, Wow! that came out Nice!  I might then ask why Chrissy instead of Charon, except that (1) Jessica Benton was a short haired blonde, and (2) the recent changes to Chrissy's perspective and associations, as well as her growing up priviledged, give her a greater resemblance to Ms. Benton than Charon.

(Plus it offsets the exceedingly eroticized Star Sapphire outfit that Chrissy was wearing in her Emotional Spectrum image…)  <ducks>

I do have to wonder at how quickly you got that up here… almost as if you've either been expecting this turn of the conversation, or have had this image waiting in the wings for the right opportunity to unveil it. ;-)

Okay, so there goes my theory of it being Charon. EoD or someone similarly menacing, then. And it seems I may have been a bit wrong about ol' Gage. I was thinking he was a total scuzzbucket, but if this goes where I'm thinking it might, he may have just sacrificed himself so Fides could go and take his mysterious papers and things to Jackson. Sure, it's probably selfish, but it's better than putting her in the middle of it, too, right?

Um… Actually dude, that's not Chrissy, it's actually Jem and the Holograms. I know it looks like her but it's not. (Chrissy's skin is more bronze.)

Gage needs to meet a painful, messy end regardless of how "decent" he really is.  Damn your facts and character development!  Some random person on the net said so!

And I'll form the head!

Oh.  But it really does look a lot like her.  Then again, I haven't seen the show since it went off the air.

Still, if this piece wasn't one you had sitting around somewhere, I'm amazed at how fast you put it together.

I'm not saying he's not that good, but I saw this MONTHS ago, I forget if he debuted it here or on Thought Crimes, or his Deviant art (I follow WAY to much Dave) but I know he's put it out there before. I'd check the archives to see if it was here, but policy of late has been to delete any content not comic based, so even if it was here, I'd never find it.

It's time for another good idea, bad idea:
Good Idea – Getting your Insider character into the comic
Bad Idea – Joining the EOD to do so.

Gratz to Jacobus for the New Avatar!

Ok, found it.  It's in D.Rey's DeviantArt gallery, posted April 10, under the title "Showtime, Synergy".

Blamblamblamblam!

Going for the knees too – so Gage isn't up for killing anyone tonight. And Phil seems remarkably relaxed about things – though now I'm wondering who 'They' are that allowing polite chats with their foes in the streets (granted with magicians and thugs for backup).

You guys are just layering the questions on the questions :)

Call it twisted, but I do enjoy the eyes on that one crouched enforcer.

Well played, Mr. Campbell. Somehow, he obtained info on EOD, and in a twist of irony, the all-powerful organization seems to be powerless to stop him without hurting themselves moreso. However, Gage clearly isn't opposed to to bury the story so long as it suits him somehow (and provided the Order doesn't just kill him afterwards anyway). Methinks it has something to do with what he was discussing with Jack.

'They' are the remaining leaders of the EOD and Bloodwatch. We've already met at least two, so there's likely a half dozen of them. Fitting for an organization ran by a Hydra.

I'm just impressed that a reporter who's been drinking at least a little just put 4 in 4 on moving targets. We're talking sniper assassin level shooting here.

Or, given that Fides is already speeding towards Gage's cache to spread it where it'll do the most harm, he's just buying time…

No, he specifically asked if 'Meghan Harris' would be bound by Lawyer-Client Privilege, same as Jack. Gage wanted a little CYA, and he expected his legal buddy, and son of the guy hunting him, to buy him some coverage. He has no clue to what use his date may put this information.

Now, will Fides actually do something with the files that Gage just dropped in her lap? I think she's going to log them at the very least, maybe even share some of the information with Sawyer, but I don't think she can just use them wholesale without compromising her cover identity.

I'm not entirely sure of that, though… I mean, the EOD guys were running around with Moira's stone-eye, while Moira appears to be off doing her own thing. I'm left wondering if there is some kind of power-struggle going on; everyone thinks the 'Master' is dead after the farce at the beach (which could potentially have damaged the age-old bargain considering the wholesale butchery that went on down there) and there's a hunt on for someone to fill Moira's shoes (or Moira herself), while Moira herself runs about following her own agenda, and why call Phil's secret some "black-ops project"? If it had something to do with the EOD, why not call it a coven, cult, whatever… those words are suggestive of other things…

Ah, maybe I just have a suspicious mind and see conspiracies everywhere! It'll all unfold in time… :)

That depends on how good an actress she is. See, if she uses the info for her work with the Insiders, and Gage happens to find out about it (can't imagine why, the Insiders seem as secretive as the EOD), then she could put on the puppy-dog-eyes and convince him that they got the info some other way. Though, this isn't to say it wouldn't be tricky, or risky, to pilfer Campbell's findings at all.

That depends on how much Gage knows. If he isn't aware of the EOD's involvement, then "black-ops" wouldn't be too far fetched. On the other hand, he didn't seem to flinch when Phil's lackey (nice touch with the eye-socket-to-nose-ring chain!) used magic protection. So he could be aware of the EOD, or even further involved as one of my theories suggest, and caught Banks/EOD associates plotting something for themselves (as you suggested, Pujardov) and spreading it across the news would ensure Philliboyd punishment from more powerful cohorts, as they'd see it as a failure on his part.

I think "Black Ops Project" is a reference to the BloodWatch.

Also, I'm getting a little freeked out as this is the third or fourth guy now with mystical powers and no left eyeball. I think Odin-envy is in full effect here.

Kinda my point, but meh… I've gotta remember that not everyone reads my colorful euphimisms as if they were meant to be equal parts plot-compatible and entertainment… :P
