Hmmm… someone is suspicious (or at least curious). Not that I blame her in the slightest.

You know, this gives further credence to a theory boiling in the back of my brain…that the dame we're seeing now isn't really Moira McKay. Dun dun dunnnnnn!

Well. If this is Moira McKay and she IS the "Master/Mistress" then I have an question. What was Nodens smoking to place the Shadowchild in the body of the "Master's" decendant?

Hrm… it's probably done intentionally to keep up the mystery and intrigue, but don't most newspapers give the nature of employment of those they mention by name? (especially when the gent is listed as "affluent")

I agree with Charon: Carbon Monoxide explosion? I wasn't aware until I looked it up that CO even COULD explode, but old abandoned buildings tend to be somewhat less then air-tight. So who would eriously buy a CO explosion.

Maybe to break the cycle? Screw up the "Master's" and his family's plans? Seems like a great way to subvert a cult from within.

Could just be a polite way of saying "spoiled rich brat who gets by on daddy's trust fund", heh. But you're probably right, my guess would also be that it's intentional to keep up the mystery. Very interesting start to the chapter!

That is, if you're not consumed by it yourself…

More likely it's a reverse. The Cult subverted the ShadowChild lines by recruiting the one they THOUGHT was going to be chosen, but then it skipped an extra generation.

It's time for another good idea, bad idea: Good Idea – Getting your Insider character into the comic Bad Idea – Joining the EOD to do so. Gratz to Jacobus for the New Avatar!

I think the cult made it Charon in an attempt to give them the key ingredient (shadowchild) to awaken Dagon. It's just Mother Hydra was to proud and took too long to do the propper ritual and then did it entirely wrong.
