We've seen one of these pages before, but of course, I can't find it now.
I got the impression on the last one that it was one of Chip's Lacky's from Episode/Chapter 2 that was found dead in an alley, severly mutilated. Now I think we just found the other one, dead by car crash, along with everyone with him.
I also couldn't find names for the lacky's, but I know I've seen them.

That's funny. When he delivered my pizza he spoke pretty good English with a Scottish accent. I guess after he killed Osama he backpacked around Europe and fell in love with Frog-Girl.
But in seriousness I lol'd a bit reading that. Haven't heard of his heroic exploits for a few years now.

Yeah, same here. I remember seeing him on the cover of the WWN at the store counter so often, but since they canned it as a separate magazine, he's kinda faded away. I think they put it in as a segment of another one, or were doing so, but that keeps Bat Boy off the front page.
I lol'ed the moment I saw it, kudos for having him make an appearance.

I had a different interpretation of the bat thing, possibly because I missed the reference. Methinks it has something to do with the vampire Sawyer shot and presumably killed. Either survived, or some kind of relative who is pissed off. Or is that too much of a stretch?

Do a google search on "bat boy" and "weekly world news", you'll see the black and white version of the EXACT same picture referenced repeatedly. 
As such, pretty sure that's most definitely the reference.

Will Fides or Lindsey show up in time to stop her, or will we find out whether Maxine Luisa Marquez is significant enough, or powerful enough, to have Character Shields, which would in turn justify her inclusion in Mythmakers Melee?

I think DA was refering to the Car Crash news bit, and even if not, the magical spell script is golden, not Orange, so he's have had the wrong caster.
FWIW, Cyborg's body parts responded to this muscles commands, so once he was possessed he did whatever he was told, but since the eyes were the gateways to the soul, so long as he kept his flesh eye closed, compulsion magic tended to roll off of him.
