So, just to make sure I have the timeline straight, in the space of one night Mr. Banks here confronted Gage and struck some deal for him not to testify, arranged and held a court session where he essentially told the entire court "I either killed or bribed your witness to my client's terrorist activities into not testifying", had his client murdered, had his client's will officially read (which I believe requires next-of-kin to be present), and held at least one press release.
…Um… yeah. Some of those things generally take days or WEEKS to do. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to do them ALL in one night, normally.
On the other hand, it means we don't have to have Becka suffering in the hospital for days or weeks while the background plot catches up, so I guess I can let it slide this time.

I was ready for this.
Look at the current page, and you'll note the day says 11/21, which makes references to the cemetery being vandalized. (From the Charon/Lindsey/Moonbeast fight)
The article that ran, right after Becka's attack in the dressing room was dated 11/16.
Granted we did speed up the progress a bit with the courtroom drama and stuff, but there has been a time passage of almost a week here.
