Had to re-upload (with a different filename), but it's working now. Thanks!

I was looking through the "News Archive" page (http://www.shadowgirlscomic.co…..gory/news/), looking for a comments link into the forum from there, and I noticed that the character images which accompany the posts when viewed from the front page are getting chopped off on that particular page. Specifically I can only see the tops of heads, not the whole upper-body image like on the front page or the per-post pages. Using Firefox 3.5.7.
I believe this is separate from the vertical positioning issue in Seamonkey that I reported privately to D-Rod. It only affects the one page.

I find it interesting that everyone had issues with avatars. I just registered today and my old one from the other forums was already there. I thought that was pretty cool, actually!
Lovin' the new site design, guys!

Is there a way to see the new posts in a thread only? I know you can click the green arrows to get to the latest or first post, but is there a way to see new posts since you last visited the thread and onwards?

Honestly… I don't know. I'll look to see if there's an individual option for it, but right off the bat, I don't think there is. I could be wrong, so don't quote me on that, but I'll look into it.

I have a lead on the cause (and possible solution) for the Seamonkey 1.1.x alignment/positioning problem. Miguel Chavez of Robomeks recently redid his site, and had a similar, if less profound, issue. He looked into it and found the problem and solution.
Per his post: "It was a problem with the order in which the layers where being loaded in that specific area. It affected only older browsers like yours and it's been quite a puzzle until today. But while finding the cause has been tricky, the solution has fortunately been not."
From what I can see of the Shadowgirls site, especially through the filter of the mis-alignment problem, the site is built in lots of layers. (Also noticible if you try to print from the Forums; you have to highlight the part of the white area you want, and print the Selection, or you only get 1 page.) Makes sense; it's how I'd assemble something this elaborate for a print publication, since it lets each piece be built independently and then assembled however you like without context conflicts.
Hopefully this means you'll be able to find the solution quickly enough, if you get a chance to try. Current and final version of Seamonkey 1.1 is 1.1.19.
