Actually, with a "bra" like that, a small-chested girl/woman (or a heavy-set one with a bust she can bind down tight enough to be smaller than her gut) can disguise herself as a boy. If she's old enough to have a bust, as long as she's young enough to not have wrinkles, she can actually disguise herself as a boy several years her junior. Sometimes even as young as half her age. This is how you get boys (e.g. Peter Pan) being played on stage by women.
She could indeed have been using that method to disguise her lack of something underneath it. Or she could have been using it bind her chest in to keep it out of the way of her arms for close combat or spellcasting gestures.

DanialArin said:As I'm not so familiar with the emblems of the Lantern corps, nor have much knowledge of the spectrum storyline beyond this conversation and some commentary by Brad Guigar in the Evil, Inc. blog, I can't make any assumptions and thus have to ask… Are the symbols used in this artwork direct matches for those used in the DC material? If not, could this artwork possibly make it into some of the SG merchandise once the series is complete?
What's really trippy is that after I read the Blackest night 1, and saw the Yellow lantern symbol I went back to the Zero-Hour Cross over where an insane Hal Jordan becomes Parallax to destroy the universe (Parallax being the being whose symbol the yellow lanterns wear) and sure enough, IT'S THERE! Not full blown like it is now, but you can see it. Somebody was planning this story line out almost 10 years ago…

Eh, I don't know about that. I think it was just developed over time by more than one writer, one taking elements of stories past to integrate it logically into a current one. Grant Morrison's known for it; he'll write serious Batman stories, but throw in old and arguably silly concepts like Bat-Mite or the Batman of Zurr-En-Arr.
I say this because talent comes and goes on a title, be it artist or writer. I can't think of any story that had a lengthy planning out other than Bendis' Secret Invasion and other related stories (which was apparently 3 years in the making). Also consider that writers and Editors-in-Chief may disagree on how a certain story should be told.
Well, there was one event in a webcomic-strip that the writer said it was "more than 10 years in the making", but that's a different story.
But hey, you could be right. Maybe SOMEONE at DC was holding onto this little nugget for over a decade and thought NOW was a the time and Geoff Johns was the writer. That would be quite a thing.

Is the one of Moira (Orange) up anywhere? Because I saw Misty's in the voting incentive, and Lin-Lin's in the comic, but I haven't seen the only other one released.

Well it was the general consesus that she'd be Green. I like how her ring changed to fit her but WTH is with Solomon having a ring?!?!

It wasn't to me at first, but I think that was because I was letting the Shadowchild Charon cloud my judgement rather then just Charon herself. Fantastic picture as always D-Rey. Love your greens.
It is these last ones that have me. As they can all, in my mind, sort of swing between two different axis.
I think at this stage I will stick with. Bold are confirmed.
Red = Lin-Lin The Vanilla Orange = Moira Yellow = Misty/Momma H Green = Charon
Blue = Fides. To me in the comic she represent the hope of the common people, and her alias is the name of the Greek spirit of hope.
Indigo = Becka. I don't think there is anyone she did not show compasion to in this comic. Well given the chance that is.
Violet = Merri. Now here is where I start to come un-stuck. On one hand I have Merri, who in Cold Comfort has internal monologue questioning the way she was raised stating the love is good not bad. Or on the other hand we have Chrissy, who from what I can see, has been entirely motivated by her love for her daughter and husband.
Black = Shadowchild. This one I think has to be the Shadowchild, as she is the only one left who exhists out of mortality. Some have argued Merri may be an imortal creature but I disagree.
White = Chrissy. I think this has to be Chrissy, her purpose was to bear LIFE to Misty/MH. Also, it appears to me that in the new issue she has been reborn, or resurected as a new, better person.
EDIT: This is the same as my last guess, just explaining myself a little.

I finally figured out why Solomon is so grumpy. Not that he's a cat that wound up a lizard. Not that he's stuck with before part of the classic before/after becoming a hero story. IT's because he's a She, named Solomon.
So I see the Kyle influence in the Mask, which lanterns, if any inspired the leg symbols? One of the things I've always loved about the corps books is how each lantern gets a unique style of uniform, at least in the most current runs.

Not sure I've been out of the comic look. But her uniform IS unique, at least her ring is.

When designing the costumes I wanted to make sure that the costume was not only definitively belonging to their respective Corp, but also carried traits of the character who's wearing it as well. Charon was the most liberal with the design. Since there's been several GL costumes over the years from Hal's, Kyles, Guy's, John's and to even the animated ones… I figured I could have a little more fun with hers. Kyle's costume was probably the most influential on her costume. While he's not my favorite Green Lantern, I always thought his 1990's costume was very good and is still one of my favorites of them Lanterns.
By the way, those curious… Charon's neckline on her back goes down to about where her lower back tattoo is, where a stylized GL tattoo with the words "Luminosus Dies, Infusco nox Noctis" under it.

Dave I hate to break it to you, but that is not reality. It is from a work of fiction

Reality is subjective when talking about fictional universes.
Besides, despite having four of the nine picked already, none of you have gotten them all so far. (Though a couple of you are close.)

Okay. Another swap out on my last try, and we get:
Red Rage Lindsey Jun Yeoh Orange Avarice Moira McKay Yellow Fear Misty Snow Green Will Charon McKay Blue Hope Becka McKay Indigo Compassion Susan McKay Violet Love Chrissy Snow Black Death Shadowchild White Life Merri
Again, it doesn't feel like Chrissy is in the right place. Love suits her better than compassion, historically, as she hasn't shown any real compassion until recently. But as the Shadowchild's magical effects are blue, I can't see putting anyone there but Charon, Becka, or the Shadowchild herself, Charon's already locked in elsewhere, and I can't think of anyone left besides the Shadowchild for the Death slot but Merri, and Merri fits White/Life better than anyone who's left. I still can't see Fides is a major enough participant to be here… even though I'm not sure Susan McKay is in any physical condition to bear one of the rings.
Still, it's a better fit to my mind than any other arrangement I can come up with.
