If I can manage to get us blown up with a crowbar, then… nevermind, this is me we're talking about…
Maz unhooks his seatbelt and pulls it as far as it goes before wrapping it around his wrist twice, then grabs the crowbar by it's hook end. Just try not to hit any bumps while I'm out there and we can go out for coffee after. Now behold my awesome!
As the bike pulls alongside, Maz pops the door open and leans down, jamming the crowbar into the front wheel spokes. As the bike flips over it's front wheel he pulls himself back into the car.
Looks like my awesome ain't what it used to be, I think Hera'll need to set these fingers… It always worked on T.V.

Didn't I have enough on my hands with Tai… Looking at the monitor in the front that displays the camera feed from the rear, Hera stops speaking in shock as she realizes that Tain is no longer strapped to the bunk where she left him.
Um guys? Anyone seen a limping one-eyed almost wonder? Maz, as soon as we're clear I'll see to your hand, but right now we have a slightly more pressing concern. Tain isn't actually in the truck anymore. I haven't stopped, no one has come into the vehicle except Fors, and I've been driving hell bent for leather for the last several minutes, so I know damn well he wasn't stupid enough to jump out. Anyone seen anything that might explain this one?
Plowing through the puny three cars that were placed across the road in her path, Hera bounces around a little from the impact, though her forward momentum is barely effected. Slowing slightly, she barrels down the road unimpeded and waves as Adamas speeds past. Accelerating once more, Hera uses the bulk of her truck to block his flight from view so he can race himself and Dinah to safety.
Huh… hopefully that will get them clear so poor Dinah can get some rest from all this activity and maybe give us time to figure out why they want her and how to help. Until then, wtf happened to Tain and Tink, just bring Maz to the junkyard. I'll meet you guys there. At least that should be a safe enough rendezvous point… Fors? Any signs of Tain out there??

I haven't seen him since you loaded him up. Unless he's a god-touched orsomething I have no clue.
Adamas keeps the gas pedal through the floor until Innsmouth is out of sight. I'll be back after I make arrangements to get Dinah the hell away from here, either that or I get her to the bloody desert myself.

After Hera's spectacular barrier bursting, one then another massive explosion of light and sound erupt *within* the two remaining viable vehicles' passenger compartments. The convoy thus slips practically unheeded from town, much to the relief of all. Aaaand, that should take care of that – adamas, I didn't realize you'd brought along the latest gen of those. I'd almost feel sorry for the bastards, if I didn't know just what they're capable of. Sorry, love, I didn't see much – I did see a brief flash of light but thought it just a coincidence. Mayhap he truly did leap from the truck when we had to slow for a turn – but if so, he'd better not have fetched himself an injury, or I'll do him another for undoing your work on him. Regardless, I'm going to resume my vigil and rejoin you all at the junkyard if nothing untoward occurs.

They caught up with me? Damn I guess I better get to work! Adamas grins like a maniac. Joking, lets just say It's…legal for me to have those and lets leave it at that for now. Wheres this junkyard? The more I think of it the more my capacitor's being drained that fast worries me and I'd rather make sure everything's functional, or know why, before I play armored transport for Dinah. Who is, by the way, soundly cursing me for straping her into a bunk like a mental patient while we ran like hell.

No. I'm cursing you for the fact that I couldn't release myself when i woke up.
Dinah sighed and ran a hand through her hair. She fidgeted with the camera settings for a moment before continuing.
Sorry about that. I'm not usually that deep a sleeper. Certainly not with the fireworks it sounds like your guys were throwing around. Thank you for the help, I'll figure out how to make it up to you guys.

Soon after adamas' query as to the junkyard's location comes up, a "1 mile" sign for a turnoff comes into view, and a moment later a rap-tap-tapping is heard from the roof of adamas' cabin. A moment later, Hera's truck's right-turn blinker turns on, and the rap-tap-tapping quickly matches its rhythm. When adamas turns on his signal and makes the turn, the truck follows suit and the tapping quiets; the next time Hera signals, the tapping is absent, but Hera thus guides the convoy from the middle position.

Goodness gracious. I step away from the computer for five minutes, and you guys raise hell again. <sigh> What part of "stay off the radar" can you guys not get? <shakes head> Do you realize this is already all over the news? Congratulations. Apparently a group of "terrorists" just caused all sorts of fireworks in Innsmouth. They're "still looking for the suspects" and "expect to find them soon." Can you guys manage to lay low for even a couple of days?
Must go, now. Joshua has learned to crawl and is trying to pull things off of the shelves. Try to stay off the news?

Adamas is talking into a headset while under his trailer at the junkyard with a radio playing "Prince Charming" Sorry Dinah, was more concerned with keeping ya safe then comfortable. Hmmm thats ODD. I was wondering why I didn't see a sign of the cops. Adamas looks confused as a new report comes on mentioning a gunfight. Sorry Inara, they didn't exactly give us a choice in the matter. Were we near the docks? I don't remember much past trying to keep the medivac in sight. And could someone hand me a 18mm wrench?

Inara, I appreciate your concern, but we truly were not the ones to escalate here. Had there been an official response we would have chosen alternate tactics (perhaps holing up and waiting it out), though I am not much surprised at their lack; Innsmouth residents long ago learned to avoid calling upon the authorities.
On a side note, I believe these headlines are just the Innsmouth media attempting to stir up the thoroughly depressed local economy into buying newspapers… for instance, there have been no federal, state or even official city hall news briefings. Given the lack of official interaction, this may well be put down to drug gang infighting, which is to our benefit, by forcing the police to do their job and take down those parasites of the modern city rather than spending their time intimidating the rest of the populace.

Ok you people are crazy. I get drugs slipped into my pop while I work on a prototype, drugged yet again when I finally come to, and left in an alley. Not to mention the news, the twenty feet of busted up cars and melted road, and the shells all over the place. I nearly got arrested to boot. The only good surprise was a bag full of money and toys I woke up with. I'll be hanging low at a hotel somewhere for awhile I think.

* Irving almost collapses onto the chair in front of the camera. He has a bandage on his cheek and a black eye. He opens his mouth to speak then stops and pulls out a cotton ball from inside his right cheek. It is red with absorbed blood.* I'm sorry to say that the news report was our fault. We were investigating the area due to a tip we got from a few contacts we've made in the area.We didn't expect anything more difficult than some grunts that could be quickly and quietly dispatched. Needless to say, it was a trap. What's worse is that it wasn't a trap by thye locals or even their oceanic allies. I mentioned earlier that there was an agency that worked for the other side, they've begun to operate in Innsmouth. I'm not sure how many agents there are but there can't be more than fifteen. *Looks up and thinks about it* Make that thirteen, I have a feeling that two won't get back up. We'll start dealing with this when the painkillers start to wear out in the next day or two and we can track their locations. The good news is that I don't think they've contacted our enemies yet but that won't remain true for long. We're going to need help with this. Ivan's out for the next few weeks for injuries and that means we're a man down. We need someone to replace Ivan and probably one ot two more to shore up our numbers. We need to keep numbers small to keep this opera quick and quiet. Contact me, if you're interested. *Puts a new cotton ball into his mouth, leans back in his chair, and falls asleep as the transmission ends.*

Jump off the what now? Last thing I remember after being slipped some roofies in my pepsi is getting stuck with a needle in some place. Then it's waking up next to a hobo trying to cuddle with me. The bag had some neat stuff in it, but I dropped off the GPS and walkies. I did get some interesting police tactical-style stuff I can use/trade, but the glock was a nice touch. So I guess whoever dumped me off back there felt bad and gave me some goodies or something. Oh and yes I really do feel violated by the way. Just don't put any pictures on the internet atleast.
Also what the hell did you guys do? The only reason I didn't get arrested when I stumbled out to the street was just from looking as shocked and confused as everyone else.

I-Cell, with a few exceptions we're each our own independent agent for the most part, but many of us are available for aid on again and off again; or to put it another way, most of us are too independent to be ideal recruits, but help is generally available to those in need. And we're all too familiar with the BW and its parent org, the EOD.
Tain, you have my word, we did not "drop you off" anywhere – you were safely bound to a bunk when our flight began, and Hera was quite distraught when she found you absent. And you say you have some gear from a tac-ops group? I'd… I mean no offence, but I'd suggest you check your head for contusions or other signs of trauma, because we had no part in what you describe except for the spiked soda, and maybe the needle – I wasn't present for that.

Tain, you were strapped into a gurney in the back of Hera's transport and suddenly you were gone, while we were running at 75+ with a couple bikers trying to put a hole in my handsome face and grab Dinah. WE didn't drop you anywhere. And if you didn't JUMP (Highly unlikely since the straps were aparently undamaged, someone Yanked you off.

Forsythe, we know you're independent. We aren't trying to recruit you into our agency; for one thing none of you fulfill the full criteria needed to be recruited. What I was trying to say was that we could use some help for this one opera, a joint-effort as it were. Especially since, as I've said, Ivan will be gone until his wounds are healed. Two, if it had been "the locals" who hit us, I would have said the problem would be "the locals". The people who hit us are from a rival agency within the U.S. government. I don't want to mention its name on the boards as it could attract their attention. Their M.O. is to collect the magics and technology from assorted…groups. They will try to contact the E.O.D. and their allies and work out a deal which could be very bad for efforts here and elsewhere. Needless to say, we have to head them off at the pass. If you want to find out more about this new agency I would suggest you research a certain 1947 crash in New Mexico. They were founded there and with enough digging I imagine you can find a name and enough information to show you why we need them out of here. Again, contact me if you're interested in participating in this opera.

Well I had a dream that I could turn invisible and could fly so maybe that's what I did? LOL. If I could do that I'd probably not be short an eye nowadays. I definitely would have gotten shot at far less. Awesome superhero aside, I took a deeper look at that bag of toys.
Most of it is just random tactical gear of questionable value, but I found one piece of something really interesting. There's half of an MA license, near as I can tell, belonging to someone named "Whatever" Eddings. I can barely make out the last name and the rest is cut cleanly in a diagonal line with weird burn marks all along the cut. The plastic actually melted through in a few little spots but that cut is PERFECT and unburned. Really weird. It almost looks like that pavement but not quite so intense. The glock's serial number has been scratched out too, so I doubt it belonged to an upstanding member of the community. I'll poke around a bit and see if anything interesting is in here before I stash what I don't want.
Oh and I'll be out of Innsmouth for awhile. Since my car got towed with everything I owned still inside. Thank god for a few thousand in small unmarked bills.
