Pujo, I've got to disagree with you.  Even if he had got it built, you're still fighting the law of Inverse Squares- wireless power transmission is good for lighting up a bulb across a room, but very hard to control and over long distances, you get fewer losses through your standard high voltage lines.  If it had been built and failed to be the panacea that Tesla thought it would be (likely, IMHO), it might have set wireless communications technology back ages, maybe permanently.  Maybe we can chat about it sometime when I come over to use the pool.  Er, you didn't mean that's for Neri, did you?  Maybe not, then.

Adamas… um… well, I guess you'll find out.  I did.

Adamas, I could not have stated it more succinctly – this is a conflict of "them" versus all those who would have the consensus of reality remain as it stands.  A true warrior uses what blades fortune and fate have laid upon his path, and I have faith that you shall be true to that noble path.

Fors chuckles with pleasure.  Brevity forces my hand this night, my friend, but your wit and wisdom yet entangle and entertain me – and were I to truly believe those your only vices, I do think that several heretofore-fictional deities would self-investiture and smite mine brain for such an enormity of fiction, my compatriot. ;)   Regarding your note of technology… Nikky was not alive a century ago, though I steadfastly agreee he was partially responsible for wireless technologies being where they stand today.  As for those notables Wiseman and Huges.. please do convey my anonymous condolances upon any losses suffered due to tonight's simulntaneous freak fires at Mr. Hughes' office and the site of the company he chose as his bunkered offsite backup site?  I hear tell that the fires were so intense, naught but partially melted concrete remained, though no deaths occurred… Alas, if only Mr. Wiseman had not lived up to his name with respect to his own security measures… Fors grins quietly, pointedly ignoring the smoky smell that haunts him tonight.

Listening to the banter of you two will be the death of me yet.  Puj, it's good to see you're still taking good care of our "mermaid" friend.  I shall have to make some time to drop by and see how she's doing.  I think I've found a few old albums that might interest her voracious appetite for new music.  Perhaps that will liven your quiet existence for a time.

Adamas… I can only hope that your mind is as open as you say.  If not, you may soon have more evidence of our stories than you are comfortable handling.  Should that be the case, we will always be here to lend aid.

Tossing a towel at Fors, Here wrinkles her nose.  Mind taking a shower, love?  You're rather… fragrant this evening and I do believe we had some plans?  Arching an eyebrow, she grins expectantly.

Fors returns Hera's grin with interest.  But of course, dearest one, please do excuse me… on second thought, let us shut the computer down for the night and then why don't you join me?

I bid all a fond goodnight, and we will speak with you on the morrow. Fors chuckles gently, and switches off the laptop.

Adamas chuckles softly. Aid for the weary knight is always welcome m'lady Hera. And speaking of ladies. My Lady just arrived with something for me. (How she snuck my gladius into a hospital I'm not sure I want to know). Adamas powers off his phone.

Huh I just noticed something weird, there's no bums anywhere.  Even a small town back home had one or two but the streets are really clear.  Something about that just doesn't seem right even if alot of the people are here do well financially.  This place creeps me out.

I know the feeling Tain. Ever since I was put in this hospital the duty nurse looks at me funny and theres been no new patients in this wing. Adamas sniffs the air.Not to mention the scent of day old sashimi is annoying. I think it's time for this cat to jump the fence. I'll be back as soon as I'm clear.

Greetings. You folk know more than is healthy for you. I like that!

I live in a teeny tenement in Innsmouth, supported by working at Kargatane Books, a used book store. All of the books have padlocks, and they only sell them to a select group of people. Though this is very suspicious, I know better than to ask questions. People have a habit of disappearing if they ask questions…

Innsmouth has far too many secrets, and I am making it my mission to discover them. There are nasty things afoot here… I'm not sure what, but it cannot be good for humanity. You all seem to be my best bet to have a little assistance and protection in my mission. Perhaps you know more than I do!

I am an avid scholar on the occult. If any of you would be willing to let me peruse their libraries, I would be most grateful!

Oh, by the way, you may call me Chronic, like a headache. I am told that I can get grating after a while.

Greetings, Chronic, and welcome to the desert… of the real.  Fors chuckles amusedly.  I've always wanted to say that, and it's rather appropos here.

Yours is a very worthy mission, and one which harmonizes with one of my own raison's de etere – to delve deep, and drag the dark secrets kicking and screaming into Helios' purifying light.  As the best way to proceed always starts with lesser secrets, I'll gladly share what I'm allowed with a fellow seeker; I bear certain loyalties and geasa which prevent me from sharing everything, as I'm sure you'll understand.  I do know your place of work, though I have never crossed its threshhold; if you wish to meet, merely send me a PM and we'll make arrangements so I can show you some of my collection?

And indeed, Tain, those unfortunates who have no stable domicile and are incautious enough to not take turns at keeping watch are often taken as fodder.  By what, should be painfully (if grotesquely) clear.  As an aside, I recommend non-native Insiders carefully weigh the risks of residing within Innsmouth; the neighboring towns are decidedly more secure, not to mention friendly.  The town's "best" hotel, Gilman House, has consistently rated poorly in "hospitality" on Hotels.com and Travelocity for a reason.

I must admit, my reasons for finding secrets are nowhere near as pure as yours, but the result is generally the same. I will say that I do have the good of the world at heart, in the end. Heh.

Oh, I know that lesser secrets are the best place to start… Chronic is lost in throught Yes. Well. A look through your library would fill in my otherwise lifeless weekends. Much obliged!

I advise you do not enter the Kargatane, unless you are a member. There are things here that don't like to be seen. Lucky for me, my only job is to stay put and man the front counter. I doubt I would last long if I were doing anything else. I only live here because I have nowhere safe to go, and in the end, where is safe? Almost nowhere.

I'll bear that in mind; suffice to say, if you stand with us then all manner of quirks are generally overlooked.  Fors grins ruefully.  And indeed, I sensed some of the site's… precautions, and have merely been observing it from a safe distance; I've a preference for retaining what little integrity my hide has yet retained (due in vast majority to the efforts of she whom I'm very lucky to call my mate).

In any case, I'll come to you a suitable distance from your workplace; expect a rather… unorthodox mode of travel.

Hera lays a gentle hand on Fors' shoulder and kisses him lightly on the cheek.  You have managed quite well in keeping your hide intact, love, as you very well know.  The only reason you were at risk the first time is because I was with you and the second, well… She trails off, thoughts turned briefly inward.  I'm just glad to have you with me still.

Sorry… Good to meet you, Chronic.  My Featherhead here seems to have taken the situation well in hand while I have been off tending to some of the local farmers.  Should you need to get away for a little while, however, there's always the possibility that one of our number could put you up for a few days, though once we've had a chance to get to know you as I'm sure you understand.  Until then, if there's aught we can do to assist you, other than feed your appetite for unusual literature, feel free to ask and I'm sure someone in the group will be able and ready to assist.  Welcome and well met.

I should be safe enough here. My employ at the bookshop is a minor protection. I think that the owner has connections to a number of groups outside the EoD. Groups that are at least as large, if not larger. I try not to bother things until I know they won't put me in the grave, or worse.

Thank you for the offer though. I may visit each of you to read through your libraries, though. I used to have such a collection.. *coughs*Not quite the same, though.

You have all been pleasant so far. It is nice to meet you.

Well, good day, all. Seems like that there are some things I need to catch up to, no? Kalypso smiles a little, eyes twinkling. Still, it's good to see everyone again, alive and well.

But first my introduction, I think…? The name's Kalypso. Started off following a blog written by a mysterious person called Fides, trekked halfway across the world to here, and the rest… yeah, I think you'll all know. So here I am, poking around and keeping an eye out for anything that is stranger than usual. It also happens to be not very beneficial for my health. Thankfully, I do have one or two… skills that are to my advantage, and they have been invaluable to me.

Well, I will write more later, as I have to run now. Until next time, take care.

Hello. *There are three men standing in a row wearing simple black suits. The one in the middle is the one speaking* I assume you are members of the "Innsmouth Insiders". I will make this brief, my name is Irving. My two associates are Ivan and Ian. *motions to the man on his right and left respectively* We represent a group in the government.*raises his hand, palm out* Now before you make any assumptions, we are not some evil conspiracy here to destroy you and what you love. We are on the same side. The actions of a certain… religious sect ,that I'm sure that we are both aware of, disgust us just as much as they disgust you, possibly even more. The progress of their sea-based compatriots in this area also disturbs us greatly. But your group seems to have helped in the containment of the situation, which led our superiors to confirm that you would be valuable allies in this fight and that once we began our operations here that we should contact you. After seeing your records I have come around to the same opinion. Here is my number *holds out a business card between two fingers and puts it down* I trust you will contact us when you need assistance. *The man identified as "Ian" whispers into "Irving's" ear* Hmmm.. well we have business to attend to. *The three men turn around and begin to walk away* We'll be in touch.

Take pride in what in what you have done. But know that in the end you shall be alone and in darkness.

Sorry guys I've been a bit…occupied. Hold on. Adamas turns away for a second followed by a thunderous gunshot. "And STAY DOWN, Hecate take you!" I'm assuming the fish-faced freaks are what you were warning me about. I got my Circle away and headed to the appalacan foothills. Guess they don't mind fresh water though, although they don't seem to be able to penetrate granite so well. I'm fine just checking in. See ya'll later.

In other news, I've been working on a few things.  Adamas, stop by when you get the chance.  I need someone who knows pointy things to tell me if they're any good or not.

*Quirks his eyebrow* Noisy Cricket? What are you…*Ivan whispers something into his ear* I see. *Irving lowers his head and massages his temple* That stupid mov… I'd advise you to steer away from such preconceptions in the future. For one thing the actual…uhhh… what was the term he used? *Ian turns to him and says "Men in Black, Irving"* Right, them, they work for the other side. If you see anything that suggests their activity I would heavily suggest that you contact us. On the subject of something for you to examine, I think we can come to an arrangement. I hear you are situated near Miskatonic University. We would like it if you went through the book collections and make sure that the more…questionable materials are safe and secure. Particularly anything donated or recorded while a Dr. Henry Armitage was chief librarian. We would do this ourselves but we are too busy in Innsmouth to deal with Arkham at the moment. In exchange I will make a request for an item you could research. How is that for you?

Take pride in what in what you have done. But know that in the end you shall be alone and in darkness.

Yep your Feds alright, about as much fun to deal with as a vascectomy without anethesia. And you might wanna send a clean-up team to alabama, I kinda left a bloody mess in the mountains.

Tink, I'm headed that way soon now that I know my circle is safely away, might as well see if I can stir up the hornet's nest again. I'm in need of some fun.

Adamas grins mischievously. Oh and Sir Trickster, Theres a gift for you and your Lady waiting for you. I'm sure you can find it and will appreciate it.

Fors chuckles with amusement.  We'd wondered who'd left that bag with a bell on it down our chimney… and its contents were equal amusing, interesting and tasty, thanks.  Fors grins in response.  Now, of course, it's your turn for a puzzle and prize; we've left you a map, that while blank in appearance until it is erased it should auto-illustrate its contents with each morning's due, if you take my meaning.  Fors is chided by Hera, off-camera.  Ahh, as you wish, my love… Adamas?  My mate asked that I inform you that a portion of that was… punny.  Hoping you enjoy this as much as we appreciated yours…
