(Fair warning given… I've had a couple… but what the freak??) This site used to drive me to insanity, operating at all hours… random mishaps, stupid misled ideas…heck, used to be I couldn't get a decent 8 hrs a night's sleep due to the amazingly fantastical insanity popping up at the weirdest of times… (and damn me, but I _loved_ it, and desperately miss those days.)   I truly don't know if it's because folks are scared of the banhammer (obviously, in my state, I'm not) or if it's because they're nervous of reawakening the Alpha days in this pre-Gamma status quo (okay, so 25 or so "main" apprentices of the Master may have been a little overkill ), but send me to the naughty place if this doesn't seem solveable.

Can you please schedule another chat with the player base?  Perhaps a regularly-scheduled one?  I know your time is as limited as any working joe's, but I'm hoping that more players will attend, and that more interest will be created from it.  That can't do anything but help your bottom line, given that you've already shelled out for the infrastructure, no?

I mean, even if we demolish the SG storyline and end up being god-kings of a parallel dimension (and at this rate in the average webcomic/rl-comic, who isn't?), at the very least we'll help move things along… or am I really onto some wildly exotic herb I oughta be sharing with the rest of the class?

Edit: Toned it down a little, but with all honesty I'm reluctant to remove the post entirely for fear of sacrificing my integrity – I love this place enough to risk my place in it, to try and stir things up a little.  It hurts me that things have become so staid.

*chuckle* Fair enough, and thanks for replying, DRod – and apologies for my post's turbulent nature.  My thought stream was somewhat distraught, and therefore not necessarily very organized.

I'm fully behind priotitizing the comic first and foremost – after all, without it, there goes a large chunk of the game, which would be silly.  I'm also not suggesting that you need to drop everything except the comic and give the game an emergency jump-start, that would be equally selfish and short-sighted.

I suppose I'm just concerned that first it was the game that became a shadow of itself, however unintentionally misguided we may have been, and now the other facets of the board are likewise receding, and it worries me.  I really do recognize that you two will be needed at all hours and from all angles once con season starts up again, and I've heard just how hard you two drive yourselves…  I suppose at the end of the day I just really hope you guys don't become so busy you can't hang out with us on occasion; resumption of the chat sessions just seemed to me to be a low-manpower-to-high-return kind of thing, but that's just from my perspective.
