****UPDATE****
It’s the first of the month!! Vote Shadowgirls and see the super cool preview of our up and coming Shadowgirls figure!!
*****************
We have wrapped up the Starkweather preview and the response has been great. But we know what you’ve been waiting for.
The girls have returned! This short story has a long history and has gone through multiple versions and writers and art changes before reaching the version you see before you now.
There were a couple of short stories written by guest authors more than a year ago. However, the thing about the Shadowgirls is that they’ve gone through a large number of changes in that year and before we could run the stories they needed a modification. And while the details of each version is different, parts of each made it into the final one you see here.
The first person to plot out the story was Travis Legge. After that, a new version was written by Dave Reynolds with some modified artwork. And then a final scripting pass was done on that plot version by David Rodriguez. (And that would be me.
) We’re very glad that this story is finally seeing the light of day and is part of the earlier promised “Tales from Innsmouth” thing we promised a long time ago. (See we didn’t forget!)
So please enjoy this interlude with Charon and Becka as we kick of Reflections…
**UPDATE**
With all the crazy traveling we are just going to start fresh on Monday. It also gives all of our new readers a chance to catch up!” Thank you for your patience and its been incredibly awesome seeing the support our webcomic has!”***
D.Rey here. I’m typing this up early, as by the tie you read this, I’ll be off on the road to Wizardworld Chicago. We’ll be at Artist’s Alley Table 3132. Apparently, according to the map, it’s enter and turn right and head straight down the line. We’re right in front of the concession stand. So if you’re heading there, stop by and say hi.
Today’s art piece here was commissioned by our own Mondo Kane, and I think it turned out nice. There’s a story here… And it should only be fair that D.Mo’ gets to tell it.
See y’all Monday!
