Annnnnd here’s today’s update. I’m sorry about the delay. I just was worn out last night, and I just didn’t feel up to staying up until eight in the morning inking.
Have a good Memorial day folks. We’ll have a little tribute picture on Monday, and we’ll return to the story on Wednesday.
Today is the last day to submit your nominations for the Eagle Awards! Please take a moment to consider Shadowgirls.
I guess I’m old fashioned, but if I pick up something and it starts to devour my eye, I immediately put it down. It’s one of them…what do you call it…preservation instincts. But I guess I’m not hard enough. Old Obed here took and said give me more. I guess that’s why I’m not Master of my own order of fish worshippers.
OR am I?
EDIT: D.Rey here. Sorry, but the page will be a touch late today. I’m still inking it, but I’m kinda worn out. I’ll finish it when I wake up. (It will actually be up though. It won’t be delayed like last Friday’s. Promise.)
Hey folks, Reynolds here. Apologies for missing last Friday’s update. Life got kinda busy on our end. So here’s today’s page, a little early for you all. (Only fair, right?)
And, don’t forget the voting for the Eagle Awards and the Shadowgirl figurine preordering!
See ya Wednesday.
EDIT: D.Rey here. As you probably guess, the page is late still. Stuff came up, so it’ll be up Monday. Mea culpa.

The saga continues as we go into the waaaaaaaaayback machine to see what was going on with some natives and the fishmen. That kinda sounds like a 70′s band. Now appearing…Natives and the Fishmen.
I should write these posts earlier in the day. I am officially loopy.
Go Mondo!!
On a side note, the Eagle Award nominations are up until May 22. If you think there are somecategories we might fit into, please take this time to give Shadowgirls a nod.
And if not and you have a minute and you’re bored go head and put our name down for every category.
The newest webcomic to cross my screen out of the collective is Mysteries of the Arcana. I will admit that I did not know what to expect when I started, and it stayed that way for the whole run of the series so far. It’s called ” A tarot based romantic, fantasy adventure.” And I confess that if it means something beyond the frame used for each comic it escapes me, but the convention of presenting each page that way is fairly interesting. A young woman is transported to a fantasy world and is sucked into a fight against enemies of the realm. But that isn’t nearly as cool as the surreal cast of characters that keep tripping across the screen.
Mysteries of the Arcana is full of surprises and worth the time. Give it a look!
Superlink week is over and it was a smashing success! The pdf’s have come down but don’t worry if you missed it because you’ll get a chance to get them again.
BUT!!
Mark this day on your calendars shadowfans for this is a historic event. For anyone who does not know, Cold Comfort is the winning entry in the Shadowgirls “Tales From Innsmouth” writing contest. We received a bunch of stories and narrowed it down to 5. Those five were voted on by you and Cold Comfort was the winner.
Now, as is common, some modifications were made to the story to make sure it was both consistent with our mythos and plans and also for some minor dialogue tweaks. But make no mistake, DJ Moore is the author of this story and it received the same editing and massaging that even I have to go through.
Please welcome him and enjoy this addition to the Shadowgirls universe!
And don’t forget to pre-order your action figure HERE!
