I am still in New York while posting this and I’ve been able to meet and talk to some of our fans and hopefully make some new ones! We have sold out of all of our single issues of Shadowgirls and the last copies of our 2007 Convention Special.
This was a great way to kick off the convention season for Shadowgirls and that this page is the perfect way to bookmark that trip.
The end of Issue 05. Another HUGE answer to our fans…and another huge question. Shadowgirls 06 starts very soon and we’ve got some treats in store for the upcoming break.

Greetings from the future, Shadowfans! By the time you read this I will be in New York for the very first time. The best part is that I’ll be in Times Square, home to every Marvel cross-over battle since 1967. This is the SECOND to final page in this episode and BOY is it a doozy. Come Monday…we will see what the final result of this transformation will be.
It’s so big…WE CAN’T EVEN DO A PREVIEW FOR YOU! I apologize. For today, I’ll have to ask you to vote out of sheer love.

Vote to get a peek at Friday’s cliffhanger.
Wow…what a weekend. As some of you may have noticed, our site has been moved to the Starkweather Studios server. There was a problem with the site transfer and we’ve lost the database info for our posts. That includes blog info and comments for each of those posts. We have been fortunate that Charles was able to recover almost all of that info from the pages in the Google Cache and post them in the forums. That was incredible of him and I can’t thank him enough for going to such an incredible effort to pull that off.
The good news is that we were planning on moving to our own server anyway. We have also upgraded to Comic Press 2, which allows us to have the 3 column layout, nifty new thumbnail archive viewer and other things that just help us work on the overall look of the site.
I have managed to repost all the way back to October so far and hopefully I’ll have them all up by the end of the week, but be patient and it will all be in place soon.

p.s. Because of the change-over, everyone’s FIRST comment is going to be held in moderation. Once that one is approved there’s no more problems unless you load it with links. Sorry about the inconvenience.
Oh, Lindsey. Can’t you stay out of trouble for one issue?! I mean, really. But I guess that’s how you want to end a Friday. With wondering what the hell Lindsey is going to do next. Now if I were a benevolent writer I’d promise that you’d find out by next page. But if you click the preview links, you’ll still see something pretty damn cool. See you in a couple of days! Oh, I just added one of those Stumble Upon buttons to our site. I’ve heard…like that RSS thing that its a good thing. It’s over there in the sidebar if you feel like helping us out!
And even more questions have been answered. And it appears that our rat bastard D.A. has done more than lie his ass off on the news. I would suggest to add this page to the slander forum discussion. (If our forums have recovered by this time. : )
And some news for anyone in the Rockford area. Starkweather studios will be featured at the Rockford Spring Scene art crawl at the Krypto Lounge. So if you get a chance, come down this weekend and see some original art and maybe even meet me!! Cue the flyer.
We have a lot of characters in our stories with complex emotions and motivations. D.A. Charles J. Bear is not one of those people. He’s just kind of a douche. But I think characters like him are sometimes necessary. Someone you can just…HATE. Without having to empathize with. I have found that politicians are often the best ones to use for that.
Oh, but I rant.
We are approaching the end of our Trapped sequence and inching closer to answers involving our girls here. If you’d like to know more…there is BIG panel preview of Friday’s strip. You know how to find it!
