I love this woman. A friend made a comment that I should have a panel where she reaches down and just eats a puppy. The truth is…she’s barely fictional. *shudder*

This is one of those pages that Reynolds screams about lettering while being excited about the story. Sometimes the characters just get away from me. Charon and Jack had so much to say to each other it was hard to remove anything without diminishing the moment.
I think Jack’s transformation was Reynold’s idea and while it seems minor it really means a lot to the story. It seems to magnify how far apart they become in the last two years.
The ending of this page caught me by surprise. It’s not the nicest answer…but it’s the one he would have.
